Have an app available for use on iPhone that one can quickly access and have on the water at any given time to get immediate updates on tides and currents. Include an option for selecting current location and getting the closest current and tide...

I would like to be able to print out a report where I can see the map at specified time intervals as well as tide & tide current tables.

Right now there is no way to bookmark deepzoom.com with a favorite location, or share maps with crew and friends. If you put the location (and potentially time) then it would be possible to bookmark and share with others.

NOAA has a station ID for each tide/current station. Allows for absolute correlation between NOAA and this program.

For small craft, the speed of the currents in knots is more useful for trip planning than tide hights.

It would be great if One could view the current flow map, the current graph, and the tide graph at the same time. I love the site and am waiting for an iPhone app

When planning trips for a season. Spring or summer, etc, 30 days is not enough and 360 days scroll by too quickly - 90 days would be great. Thanks for the great site. Found your site after trying to struggle through unusable government sites.

I frequently ride the ferry from Port Townsend to Keystone (Coupeville). Just NW of the Keystone ferry harbor, during strongly outflowing tides, there is a dramatic upwelling of current, apparantly created by large differences in sea floor...
